Svyatoslav Sokolov (also known under the pseudonym Svyatoslav Makka) was born in Izhevsk, studied at the Udmurt State University, worked at the theater, and was published in the local literary magazine "Luch". In 2019, in Samara, he took part in the project of the All-Russian Poetry Residence "Renovation" for emerging poets. In the same year, Svyatoslav took part in the literary festival "Kompros" in Perm with a team of poets from Izhevsk (with Marat Bagautdinov and Yegor Zavgorodny) winning the title of "The Poetic Capital of the Urals and the Volga Region" for Izhevsk.
According to the tradition of our Literary Club meetings Svyatoslav Sokolov talked about himself and his work, performed some of his poems, and answered the audience’s questions.
