NLUR Took Part in All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference "Library and Regional Cultural Space"

On December 18 specialists of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic took part in the All-Russian Scientific and Cultural Conference “Library and Regional Cultural Space”, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the Department of Library and Information Technologies of Perm State Institute of Culture.

The conference took place remotely on 17-18 December (see the Program in Russian).

Chief bibliographers of the Division of Legal Information and Educational Resources of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic Elena V. Burkova and Rushaniya R. Gizatullina presented a report “Implementing Socially Important Projects in a Library: the Experience of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic”.

The report overviewed some of the socially important projects, which received positive feedback from our users (the Republican Memorial Campaign "Searching for a Soldier", the online project "School of an Active Voter") and focused on combining traditional and virtual forms of library work in these projects and involving social partners.
