Literary Club Meeting in September

On September 11 at 9 pm Literary Club of National Library of Udmurt Republic is hosting a meeting with Izhevsk poets Tatyana Repina and Alexander Mitryakov.

25 years old poetess from Izhevsk Tatyana Repina is a gradute of the Faculty of Philology of the Udmurt State University. Currently she is an undergraduate student at Kraków University (the Faculty of Culture Studies). She started writing poetry quite early. Her first book – “Monografia” – has already become a bibliographic rarity; her second collection of verse – “Bez Glav” (published in St. Petersburg in 2014) has been recently celebrated at her home city at the book festival “Chitay, Izhevsk” (“Izhevsk, Read!”). Tatyana’s poems are available for reading online at the social networking sites and on Stihi.ru.


Alexander Mitryakov also graduated from the Udmurt State University. He is a Candidate of Historical Sciences, archeologist, traveler, kulturtrager, active member of Izhevsk club of intellectual games. His poems and essays have been published in the literary journal “Italmas” (available online through the National Electronic Library of the Udmurt Republic). Both Alexander and Tatyana are members of the young poets' group “Brezentovaya Tsaplya”.


The forthcoming literary meeting entitled "De urbi et orbi" will discuss the issues of urban life philosophy and will feature poetry readings. The event will be participated by students, literary observers, critics and poetry admirers.

All are welcome to attend.

The evening will take place at the Republic’s Library for Children and the Youth (Izhevsk, Pushkinskaya St., 200).
