Contest of Creative Projects “Our Victory”

We are pleased to announce the opening of the submission period, starting February 15 and ending April 20, for the Republic’s Contest of Creative Projects “Our Victory” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Organizers – Institute for Regional Strategic Development and National Library of Udmurt Republic.

The contest aims to contribute to the patriotic education of the youth, its civic-minded development; to support young people’s initiatives for studying and preserving Russian literary and historical heritage.


Who can participate? School students of 8-11 grades of the Udmurt Republic.


The following nominations are invited:

  • “My Grandfather’s War Stories” (literary writings: short stories, poems and essays about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and its labour front).
  • “Family Album” (contest of family photographs of the Great Patriotic War period, war drawings).
  • “History in the Video Frame” (contest of video projects).
  • “Relay of Good Deeds” (contest of socially-oriented projects).

The working languages of the projects – Russian or Udmurt.


Winners in each nomination will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. The prize fund totals 20,000 RUB. All contestants will receive certificates of participation.



  • February 15 − April 20 – the submission period.
  • April 21−28 – the jury decision.
  • April 30 – the announcement of contest results, the award ceremony.

To participate in the contest, please send your project along with an application form up to 4 pm, April 20 to: Izhevsk, Krasnoarmeyskaya St., 130, office 12 (opening hours: Monday-Friday: 12.00-16.00).

Contest results will be published at Institute for Regional Strategic Development and National Library of Udmurt Republic web-sites. The best projects will be added to the collections of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic and the Central State Archive of the Udmurt Republic.
