A folio edition of P. I. Tchaikovsky’s scores was donated to the National Library of the Udmurt Republic at the awarding ceremony honoring young talents with G. M. Korepanov-Kamsky’s Government scholarships and “Nasledniki” (“Heirs”) Government awards of the Udmurt Republic. The ceremony took place at the State National Theatre of the Udmurt Republic on October 15.

The rare sheet music collection titled “Twelve Romances and Songs for a Single Voice Part for Piano Accompaniment. By P. Tchaikovsky” (1886) was gifted by Head of  "Dom.ru Izhevsk" Sergey Bakhmurnov. "The edition, announced to be the monument of a federal value, represents the author’s lifetime publication and bears characteristic features of book design of a particular epoch, particular publisher. It might present great interest for researchers and might be applied in written heritage promotion, in educational and museum work. Understanding its uniqueness and cultural heritage value, we decided to pass the folio to future generations" said Sergey Bakhmurnov.

Head of National Library of Udmurt Republic Galina G. Kalinina thanked "Dоm.ru Izhevsk" for a valuable donation and noted: "The National Library of the Udmurt Republic has all the necessary opportunities to duly preserve this rare edition and to ensure its accessibility for a wide circle of users both in Russia and abroad. We collect and maintain manuscripts, publications and collections related to outstanding individuals who left a prominent trace in national and world culture.
