The remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library accessible at the National Library of the Udmurt Republic (9, Lomonosova St.) invites readers to get acquainted with the collection "The Udmurt Republic: Pages of History", forming a part of the large collection "Regions of Russia".

Poet, prose writer, deputy editor-in-chief for "Literaturnaya Gazeta" Anastasia Yermakova gave a favorable feedback about the recent Literary Festival "In the Homeland of P. I. Tchaikovsky" in the article in "Literaturnaya Gazeta" published on 10 July 2019.

Till the end of July, the Center for National and Local History Literature and Bibliography of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic is staging the book exhibition "At the Origins of Udmurt Academic Music", dedicated to the 95th anniversary of G. A. Korepanov and the 90th anniversary of G. M. Korepanov-Kamsky.

The National Library of the Udmurt Republic and the Ministry of Culture of the Udmurt Republic are announcing the start of the annual contest of library projects "The Big Read – 2019: Pushkin on Trend".

On June 12, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic took part in the Udmurt national festival "Gerber" in Berezovaya Roshcha Park, Izhevsk. The festival was organized by the Administration of Industrialniy District of Izhevsk in cooperation with the All-Udmurt Association "Udmurt Kenesh" and the Udmurt State Philharmonic Society.

On May 27, the State Council of the Udmurt Republic hosted a festive event timed to the All-Russian Day of Libraries and dedicated to the closure of the Literary Festival "In the Homeland of P. I. Tchaikovsky" and the 100th anniversary of the Republican Library for Children and Youth.

On May 25, the Park of Culture and Recreation Named after S. M. Kirov hosted literary events as part of the Literary Festival "In the Homeland of P. I. Tchaikovsky".

On May 27, the Literary Club of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic held the meeting with writers from Moscow Victoria Lebedeva and Alexander Turkhanov as part of the programme of the Literary Festival "In the Homeland of P. I. Tchaikovsky".

On May 23, the State Puppet Theater of the Udmurt Republic hosted a meeting with poet, writer, screenwriter (author of "Kikoriki", also known as "GoGoRiki" or "Smeshariki" in Russian) Igor Shevchuk (St. Petersburg). The meeting took place as part of the Literary Festival "In the Homeland of P. I. Tchaikovsky".

On May 7, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic held a round table discussion of the results of the Republic’s campaign "Message from the Frontline" (2016–2018).

On April 19, the newly upgraded Multi-sensory Room of the Regional Center for Library Services to Blind and Visually Impaired Users of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic (9 Lomonosova St.) hosted an interactive lesson "Tailed Therapy Assistants".

On April 23, the "Udmurt Krai" Club of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic held the meeting with prose writer Maria Vekshina (the first in a series of meetings with young writers from Malopurginsky District of Udmurtia as part of the campaign "Literature Days of Malopurginsky District").

On April 20 from 11 am to 9 pm the National Library of the Udmurt Republic hosted events within annual all-Russian campaign "Biblionight". This year's programme official theme was "All the world's a stage" dedicated to the Year of Theatre in Russia.

At the end of March, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic took part in the Scientific-practical Conference XXIV Orlov’s Readings organized by the National Library of the Republic of Mari El named after S. G. Chavain.

On March 21, the State National Theater of the Udmurt Republic hosted the Hour of Artistic Reading organized by the National Library of the Udmurt Republic together with the actors of the theatre as part of the campaign "Literature Day of Malopurginsky District".

On March 20, the Literary Club of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic hosted a meeting with Izhevsk poet Anna Glukhova (presently writing under the pen name Grata).

On May 23–28, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic, the Council of Veterans of Cultural Workers of the Udmurt Republic and the Republican House of Folk Arts, with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation, the Ministry of Culture of the Udmurt Republic and the Russian Culture Foundation, are holding the Literary Festival "In the Homeland of P. I. Tchaikovsky".

On March 21, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic held a presentation of a multi-format specially adapted edition for people with visual impairments "Izhevsk Teatralniy" [Theatrical Izhevsk] issued to the Year of Theater in Russia.

On April 6 at 1 pm the National Library of the Udmurt Republic is hosting the regional round of the reading aloud championship in the Russian language "Otkroy Rot" ("Open Your Mouth"). The event will take place at the conference hall of the Udmurt State Philharmonia (Pushkinskaya St., 245).
