October 1 marks the start of the submission period for the international e-campaign "The Word of Udmurtia Through Voices Across the World: to the 100th Anniversary of the Statehood of the Udmurt Republic" organized by the National Library of the Udmurt Republic and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Udmurt Republic.

On September 18 at 5 pm, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic is opening the book exhibition "Mikhail Kalashnikov – the Legend and the Brand: 15 facts about the outstanding weapon designer that you did not know".

On August 24 from 4.30 to 7 pm the National Library of the Udmurt Republic is hosting the event "Camera! Action!" as part of the All-Russian "Cinema Night".

The books-finalists of the 14th season of Russia’s most prestigious annual literary award the Big Book 2019 will be available for free at LitRes e-library for a limited time.

The National Library of the Udmurt Republic – the major book repository of the region – has unique collections of rare and valuable documents: manuscripts and early printed books, books of Russian type, miniature and unusually designed publications representing fine examples of printing art, books with autographs by prominent figures, art editions and sheet materials, etc.

On August 27 at 10 am, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic is hosting a session for teachers of the Udmurt language and literature as part of the traditional August Conference of Teachers of  Izhevsk.

On August 14, the Division of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic held a meeting with a young writer from England Irina Goncherenko.

On August 20, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic held a master class by a blind traveller from Yekaterinburg Vladimir Vaskevich.

Till the end of July, the Division of Literature in Humanities and Natural Science of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic is staging the book exhibition titled "The Talent of Great Simplicity" to the 90th anniversary of Vasily Shukshin (1929–1974).

Until July 26, the Division of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic invites to attend the book exhibition to the 100th anniversary of Iris Murdoch.

The remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library accessible at the National Library of the Udmurt Republic (9, Lomonosova St.) invites readers to get acquainted with the collection "The Udmurt Republic: Pages of History", forming a part of the large collection "Regions of Russia".

Till the end of July, the Center for National and Local History Literature and Bibliography of the National Library of the Udmurt Republic is staging the book exhibition "At the Origins of Udmurt Academic Music", dedicated to the 95th anniversary of G. A. Korepanov and the 90th anniversary of G. M. Korepanov-Kamsky.

The National Library of the Udmurt Republic and the Ministry of Culture of the Udmurt Republic are announcing the start of the annual contest of library projects "The Big Read – 2019: Pushkin on Trend".

From August 20 to 26, the festival of creative communities "Tavrida-ART" will be held in the town of Sudak (the Republic of Crimea, Kapsel bay). Obtaining a participant's visa or registration as a spectator of the festival is free of charge.

On June 12, the National Library of the Udmurt Republic took part in the Udmurt national festival "Gerber" in Berezovaya Roshcha Park, Izhevsk. The festival was organized by the Administration of Industrialniy District of Izhevsk in cooperation with the All-Udmurt Association "Udmurt Kenesh" and the Udmurt State Philharmonic Society.

On May 27, the State Council of the Udmurt Republic hosted a festive event timed to the All-Russian Day of Libraries and dedicated to the closure of the Literary Festival "In the Homeland of P. I. Tchaikovsky" and the 100th anniversary of the Republican Library for Children and Youth.
